Mark O’Donnell is an Associate in the New York City office. He concentrates his practice in the defense of high exposure civil defense matters with a focus on alleged violations of New York State Labor Law. Over the years, he has represented owners, general contractors, construction managers and trade subcontractors to defend such claims and prosecute claims for contractual indemnity and insurance coverage arising out of such cases. In addition, he has experience with wrongful death, premises liability, medical malpractice and professional liability claims. He has extensive experience taking and defending depositions, drafting successful summary judgment motions which have been affirmed on appeal, oral argument and defense verdicts at trial.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Donnell worked for regional and national civil defense firms based in New York City. Mr. O’Donnell obtained a Bachelor in Business and Law from University College Dublin. He is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York, US District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the Irish American Bar Association, Brehon Law Society and Defense Association of New York.
Outside of the office, Mark leads an active lifestyle where he has been involved with the administration of the Brooklyn Rugby Club, a 501(c)(3) charity for whom he also played, and is an avid cyclist.
