Biography

David R. Contino is an Associate in the Long Island office. His practice centers on defense of New York Labor Law and personal injury claims. Prior to joining the firm, David worked as an Associate in a boutique plaintiff’s side employment law firm, pursuing wage and hour, discrimination, and constitutional law claims. David also previously practiced as part of a general liability defense practice group focused on defending New York Labor Law claims.
David is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Prior to admission, David held a judicial internship with the Honorable Steven M. Jaeger, as well as a fellowship under the Honorable Thomas A. Adams, Nassau County Administrative Judge, in the New York State Supreme Court, Nassau County. David graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in English Language & Literature, focused on Rhetoric and Linguistics, and received his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served as a senior editor on the Hofstra Journal of International Business and Law.
David is an Eagle Scout, and was selected for membership in the Order of the Arrow, a peer elected national honor society within scouting dedicated to the principles of cheerful community service and quality leadership.
