Biography
Joshua Malekan is an Associate in the New York City office of Perry, Van Etten, Rainis & Kutner, LLP, where his practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense. He represents insurers, businesses, and insured entities in a broad range of matters, including construction accidents involving New York Labor Law, premises liability, property damage, and general liability claims.
Mr. Malekan is involved in all stages of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. He assists in the defense of complex personal injury and construction-related claims and works closely with clients and insurers to develop strategic and cost-effective litigation solutions.
Mr. Malekan earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2023 and received his Bachelor’s degree from Queens College. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.
