Medical Malpractice
In June of 2018, Geoffrey H. Pforr obtained a defendant’s verdict in Supreme Court, Kings County on behalf of a cardiologist. It was claimed that the cardiologist departed from the standards of care in inadequately anti-coagulating a patient with atrial fibrillation leading to a stroke. As a result of the stroke, the plaintiff was left with left sided paresis as well as an inability to communicate.
