DEFENSE ARBITRATION AWARD [Morrison]
Justine Grisanti-Van Etten obtained a No Liability award in a December 1, 2022 Arbitration in the Superior Court of New Jersey (Ocean County) on an automobile accident case. Overcoming the fact that our client’s driver struck the plaintiff in the rear, Ms. Grisanti-Van Etten prevailed on a causation defense arguing that all of plaintiff’s injuries were related to a subsequent pedestrian knockdown accident that plaintiff was involved in. As such, all damages awarded to plaintiff were against the second defendant form the subsequent accident.
