Medical Malpractice

Geoff Pforr, Esq. obtained a defendant’s verdict following a trial in Supreme Court, Suffolk County, on behalf of our client, a Board Certified neurologist. It was claimed our client departed from the standards of care in determining plaintiff’s decedent, who suffered a stroke, was not a candidate for TPA therapy and therefore did not institute TPA therapy.  Plaintiff’s decedent later suffered a seizure rendering her comatose and she expired four days later.
